  1. Purpose of this Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, reversals, and billing corrections are handled for services purchased from MANOJ DaTz. It applies to all custom freelance services offered through the Website, proposals, invoices, direct payment links, and written service engagements.

  1. Nature of the Services

The services provided by MANOJ DaTz are customised, time-based, skill-based, and often reserved against a defined production schedule. Once a project slot, consultation window, design time, editing time, or production capacity is allocated, that capacity is no longer available for another client during the reserved period.

  1. Non-Refundable Payments

All payments are non-refundable once paid, except in cases of duplicate payment, administrative error, or where required by applicable law.

  1. What the Non-Refundable Rule Covers

The non-refundable policy applies to advance payments, deposits, booking fees, milestone payments, consultation fees, project commencement fees, strategy fees, design fees, editing fees, production fees, development fees, and final settlement payments, whether the work is fully completed, partially completed, or paused due to client-side delay.

  1. Limited Exceptions

A refund may be considered only in the following limited circumstances: duplicate payment; a proven clerical or administrative billing error; a payment collected in excess of the amount approved by the client; a refund required by applicable law; or any other situation expressly approved in writing by MANOJ DaTz.

  1. Cancellation by the Client

If the client chooses to cancel a project after confirmation, the cancellation request must be made in writing. Payments already made remain subject to the non-refundable rule. MANOJ DaTz may also invoice for completed work, accrued time, or committed third-party costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

  1. Dissatisfaction and Revision Requests

Client dissatisfaction does not by itself create a refund entitlement where the services have been provided substantially in line with the approved brief, quotation, or instructions. Where revision rounds are included in the agreed scope, revision opportunities are the primary commercial remedy and do not convert into a right to a refund.

  1. Reversals, Disputes, and Chargebacks

Clients are expected to contact MANOJ DaTz first to attempt good-faith resolution of any billing concern before starting a formal dispute, chargeback, or reversal with a bank or payment provider. Submission of a payment does not remove rights that may exist under applicable payment network rules, banking processes, or mandatory law.

  1. Refund Processing for Approved Exceptions

If a refund is approved under a recognised exception, it will, where reasonably practicable, be processed to the original payment channel. Processing times depend on the relevant bank, card network, or payment provider and are outside the direct control of MANOJ DaTz.
